Charrette Committee

We’re in the process of organizing the Spring 2011 Design Charrette!

Ever wonder what goes into designing a design competition? Here’s your chance to take part in the decisions. The Charrette Committee will meet for probably no more than once a week for about an hour(not a huge time commitment) and decide what the project will be(past projects included a Transportation Hub at 35th and Federal, a Commuter Center at IIT, and the redesign of an abandoned Louis Sullivan church). We will also look into getting tshirts for the charrette, and invite other schools(we’ve had charrettes with students from University of Detroit-Mercy as well as Italian students from Univeristy of Venice!).

Its a really fun event. Hope to hear from you. For info on last semester’s charrette, click here.
