iitAIAS went on its first pilgrimage of the year to Frank Lloyd Wrights Fallingwater. The opportunity to send 43 students to a architecturally significant sight such as this speaks the mission of providing once in a lifetime opportunities for education.

One last great tour before the semester wraps up! Check out one of the only religious buildings designed by Frank Lloyd Wright with iitAIAS, best part is its FREE!!!! You can register in the field below the poster.

We will be leaving Crown Hall @ 11:00am December 3rd, with our tour starting at 12:00pm. If you want to meet us there you are more than wiling, we will be taking CTA and being environmentally conscious.

Robie House

Sorry for the short timeline here everyone. We’ll be going to the Robie house this Friday before studio. The tickets are $12 on a first come, first serve basis. All you need to do is visit the tinyurl site and sign up. See you Friday.

Dia de los Muertos

Come enjoy some empanadillas and horchata in preparation for the day of the dead. We’ll be in north core as usual, so come hungry, even if only for a snack. Remember that we take credit and debit now too, so no excuses about having no cash! See you Wednesday.

Halloween!

Halloween’s coming up, so that means our annual pumpkin carving is taking place. Come meet up with us after studio in Center Core for some free pumpkins as we watch a movie.

Dumplings!

It’s time for our bi-weekly fundraiser. This week get ready for Asian cuisine. We’ll have authentic meet and veggie dumplings for a quite affordable snack on WEDNESDAY, October 6. Find us in north core starting at noon. We’ll be there until all of the dumplings are gone, so come quick!

Iitty Bitty Competitty

This weeks Iitty Bitty Competitty is our annual t-shirt design competition. The winner’s design will be used as the official iitAIAS t-shirt for the year, as well as a $20 Gift Card. Keep in mind that it is for iitaias when designing, irrelevant designs will be pulled. All submittions are due on OCTOBER 3rd via email to aias@iit.edu, and judging will be later in the week. Good luck!

Please keep the logo smaller than 8.5″ x 11″. We don’t want the entire shirt covered in graphics. See last years entry below as a starting point.
